Sometimes known as a Mbira, Kalimba, and Zanza. This item is a musical instrument most commonly made in Africa to produce acoustic sounds. This particular instrument was made by the Gogo people of Tanzania. Large amounts of patina are evident on the sides where it was most often held. Wear is also present on the tips of the metal prongs that stick out of the instrument.
