This drum is an authentic small handmade African tapered instrument, made of wood in red color. This drum is an original piece from Niger, with the maker unknown. It is a relatively common but real drum, made only for use in ritual, tribal ceremonies. Perfect for collectors or those interested in African music, art and ethnographic artifacts. This ceremonial drum measures 14 1/2″ (37 cm) tall with a head measuring 9" (23 cm). It is in excellent condition, used but not extremely old.
