This is a beautiful tightly woven, abstract design Fulani flat sisal basket disk hand woven by women in the far reaches of rural Mali. This a one-of-a-kind representation of the skill of the Fulani weavers of Mali.This quality of basketry is rare and hard to find, a truly exceptional objet d'art. It was made exclusively for use by Fulani tribal people and was used. As such it has some signs of that use, but is in excellent conidition.
