This basket/bowl is one of the thinnest coil and therefore finest quality woven basket in Africa. The design is among the most intricate, demonstrating the very advanced skill of the women of the Batoro tribe who make these in Uganda, near the Ruwenzori Mountains. We think these are the most beautiful and finest quality baskets we have ever seen, reflecting the unbelievable ingenuity of these amazing Ugandan artisans. Locally available natural dyes are used to create the vibrant colors which contribute to the beauty of these baskets
