This modification of the very well-known mudcloth textile, the traditional cloth of the Bamana, aka Bambara, people of Mali is one of many contemporary versions of this tremendously popular cloth.

Quite large, these are used as blankets in Africa but for Western use they are more useful as tabletop, a modified bedspread or a gorgeous wall tapestry. This textile measures 81 x 47 1/2" (206 x 121 cm)
