Vintage Aso Oke textile from Nigeria. This beautiful 100% cotton cloth was woven of very fine gauge hand-spun cotton thread and very tightly woven on a traditional double heddle dragstone loom by accomplished Yoruba male weavers. The quality of thread used in previous times is no longer available and it is rare now for this level of quality of weaving to be done by modern weavers.
