Traditionally, all children in Africa make their own toys out of found materials: discarded cans, wire, old sandals, tires, etc. Following this long-standing tradition modern artists are creating art in all kinds of forms. This airplane was made by such an artist but it could have been a toy a child might have made for him or herself. 

Although this could have been a toy in Africa we consider it only to be a decorative object. It is NOT appropriate as a toy for a child unless it's the African child who made it.

Each plane varies somewhat in color, design and size. Most are approximately 11 x 7 1/2 x 5" tall +/- 1-2" (28 x 19 x 13 cm +/- 2-5 cm)
