Traditionally, all children in Africa make their own toys out of found materials: discarded cans, wire, old sandals, tires, etc. Following this long-standing tradition modern artists are creating art in all kinds of forms. This whimsical design multicolor painted wire spring design mountain bike was made by such an artist but it could have been a toy a child might have made for him or herself. 

Although this could have been a toy in Africa we consider it only to be a decorative object. It is NOT appropriate as a toy for a child unless it's the African child who made it.
