This is one of the hats most commonly worn by men in West Africa, in Burkina Faso, where they were made, but are also beautiful when worn by women elsewhere in the world. Many Americans know it as a “kufi”, a “koofy” or a “coofy”, a hat commonly worn by Muslims but not exclusively. It is also known as a skull cap or a beanie. The interior circumferences of these, the largest versions of these hats that we have, varies from 23 3/8 to 23 3/4" making them a very good fit for most larger heads.
