This hand-made wooden bowl is extraordinary in its design being adorned with a hand-woven basketry rim making it "half bowl/half basket". The name given to these functional art objects in Rwanda by the Tutsi people who make and use them is "Imbehe" - pronounced Eem Bay Hay. This one features a relatively shallow natural light wood bowl with a wide basketry rim with green accents.
