This exceptionally detailed and beautiful male statue is an extraordinary example of the best brass casting that the Baule people have done in their long history of artistic expression. This would have been cast in memory of a deceased elder in the family and kept in the family's shrine to continue to honor the spirit of that man.

18 3/8″ (46.7 cm) tall overall; the statue alone is 17″ (43 cm) tall.  The base measures 6 x 5 7/8" (15 x 15 cm)
