These signs are small versions, eplicas, of much larger commercial art paintings that would have been commissioned by an artist, possibly even this very artist, to advertise her barbershop or beauty salon business. This artist signs his name "H. T. Gérard"; his studio is Arts Junior Benin. The artist painted this one to augment his income due to the appreciation for this art on a wider basis. We support him and his family when we buy his art as do you when you purchase it from us for which he and we thank you. The names of the businesses these signs would have been made to advertise vary.

All of these signs measure approximately the same but do vary slightly. Each sign photo specifies its precise dimension. All are 3/16" (4.76 mm) thick.
