This necklace is very tightly woven by hand by Fulani women in northern Mali in the style reminiscent of a bullwhip. The quality of their workmanship, the level of detail, is beautiful. The clasp for each is the traditional ball and loop style.

For now, the only color we have of these is "black & white", actually the white is the natural color of the leather.

There is a limited variation in the size; most are approximately 6 1/8 x 4 1/4" (16 x 11 cm) in internal diameter x 1/2" at its thickest point (13 mm)
