Vintage Ewe tribal textile from Ghana. This beautiful weaving is characteristic of the Ewe people of Ghana and Togo. This would have been the most formal clothing of a man of some distinction. Men wear these around their shoulders on important ceremonial occasions, with one shoulder exposed.
