Soapstone is a soft rock that is capable of being carved and etched to great deal without fracturing. This is a symbol of both the aesthetics and talent of Vietnamese workers. Mined from the mountains of Quang Ninh, these 3 soapstone figures were individually designed, carved and painted to produce 3 complete masterpieces. It takes hours to finish and ultimately become one of a kind pieces. 

Mary is 4 1/2" tall (11 cm). Joseph 5 1/8" (13 cm). Jesus 3 1/4 x 2 1/4 x 1 5/8" tall (8 x 6 x 4 cm)
