This face mask is what many people in Ghana are wearing during the pandemic. We do not represent this as anything but a fashion accessory. It has two cotton cloth layers but no filter and is not recommended for purposes of protection from SARS-COV-2 aka COVID-19. For use by men or women. This vintage textile was made in Ivory Coast by the Baule people and used by a Baule woman as her clothing. We sell  other complete vintage Baule cloths on this site. We took some to Ghana to have it made into face masks.
