This pendant is one of the region-specific pendant series - said to be a series of 21 - that the Tuareg people of Niger use. This one is from the Zinder region, characterized by a circle at the top and an "arrow" pointing down. This pendant measures about 2" (5 cm) and is available in a multiplicity of subtle variations, all stylistically the same.

We string this pendant on either an African single black twisted leather cord or a tan one. We sell same pendants, individually, unstrung, as well as these same cords separately, on this site.
